Submitted By Randal Kuyvenhoven on Wednesday, May 31, 2017
We wanted to let you know about Ivy Hockey Academy's Summer Camp this August in the Kawarthas, at North Kawartha CC, the last week of the summer, Aug 28-Sept 1. Full details below and at www.ivyhockey.com/kawartha.html

Ivy Hockey School was created by The Moore Family. The Moore Brothers grew up playing hockey across Ontario before going on to scholarships at Harvard University and then to the NHL. Director Mark Moore who lives in the Kawarthas in the off-season, was drafted and signed by the Pittsburgh Penguins and is the author of the award-winning hockey book for children, parents, and coaches "Making It In Hockey: What You Need to know from the Experts & Pros" endorsed by Hall-of-Famer the Golden Jet Bobby Hull. Steve Moore played for the NHL's Colorado Avalanche. Dominic Moore plays for the Boston Bruins and has reached the Stanley Cup Final Four in his last 4 playoffs with 3 different teams: 2015 and 2014 New York Rangers, 2011 Tampa Bay Lightning, and 2010 Montreal Canadiens (Dominic missed the 2012 and 2013 playoffs due to the illness and death of his wife). Dominic's return from that tragedy helped him win the NHL's Masterton Trophy for "perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey." He is a former Associate Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs (2008-2009). Moore Family member Dave Moore has trained NHL MVP Patrick KaneNHL Best Defenceman Drew Doughty, Olympic/World Cup Champion Corey Perry, and many other pro players. Father Jack Moore and family.

Ivy Hockey's summer hockey school program is custom designed by the Moore Family to maximize skill development, fun, and a positive learning attitude for young players. The hockey school staff have proven expertise and an outstanding track record over many years of successful hockey playing, coaching, teaching, and hockey school programs.
