The Douro Minor Hockey executive met to develop a refund plan for families.
Many considerations were factored to create a plan that is fair and equitable while compensating for a season not completed. It’s important to note that it is not realistic to compare last season to this season, significant ice time increases to meet the challenges of small team caps increased the operating budget considerably.
DMH took into consideration what was purposed to families in terms of a season and what in reality was delivered. With this is mind, we will be delivering a rebate on paid registration fees which equate to the intended season not played.
The following dollar amounts reflect this formula.
Preschool- $126 rebate
U-7-$140
U-8-$182
U-9-$189
U-11-U-18-$210
Please note these amounts may vary in instances of those who received the 3rd child discount and those who haven’t paid registration fees in full.
DMH is giving families the opportunity to put their rebate towards next year’s registration fees. A credit memo can easily be applied to your account. If you wish to have your rebate applied to next year, no further action is required. Should your player’s plans change come September, you can request a payout at that time, not a problem.

[email protected]. Only those who request in writing will receive rebates. Third year U-18 players will of course receive their rebate, no need to submit your requests.
