Spring Tryouts.
Dukes Parents:
In an effort to provide the best minor hockey programming choice for our members, given the recent OMHA changes, Douro Minor Hockey will be hosting spring tryouts for U11 to U16 players. The remaining tryouts for U9MD, U18 and U21 will be done in the fall.
After much
effort we were able to secure ice in Campbellford in May. Tryouts will be held
between May 3rd and May 11th, exact dates and times will be announced once
finalized. We will also be offering preskates to our existing membership as per
OMHA rules ahead of tryouts, again details to follow when finalized.
As a small
town center we are continuously being pushed to adapt and reinvent our
organization due to the constant changes in the OMHA framework in recent years.
As in previous years, Douro Minor Hockey is committed to providing every player
that wants to play hockey in Douro the chance to do so.
We hope you
can appreciate the time and thought that has gone into this new change in an
effort to offer players and families more choice when it comes to minor hockey
